Born in Long Beach, California in 1982, Jonathon Hornedo is a polydisciplinary Costa Rican-American artist and Notary Public. After attending Long Beach City College he earned a BA in Art from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010. In 2023 he completed an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. Hornedo founded and directed Pretend Gallery in Echo Park, Los Angeles from 2012 to 2020, and has recently exhibited with Timothy Hawkinson Gallery in Los Angeles, and Long Beach City College Art Gallery. As a writer, his work has been published by Insert Press and Strip Mall Magazine. Hornedo is currently writing a novel. He lives and works in Long Beach, California.
